“If the world is becoming a global village, it will also take on the features of real village life, including cliques, lifelong feuds, and impassible social barriers.”

This quote is quite intriguing because it seems to fit all the dimensions of our planet into an ordinary village. The particular term global village implies that thanks to innovations, people communicate mobile between the most distant points on our planet. This means that absolutely every person living on the planet can know what is going on in another person’s life. All these people live next to you, literally enter your house. Just like in a village where everyone knows everyone and is aware of all local events, it’s enough to remember old ladies sitting on a bench and discussing the latest news. Nevertheless, the only thing that distinguishes us from such villages is that we are users of the global network, which exists on our computers, phones. Of course, people have started to take advantage of modern opportunities and strive to become a big part of this village, and clicks have appeared that urge us to buy a product, but is this a minus? Rather, a question does not give an exact answer. The Internet is full of useful things, the most important thing is that you yourself will be able to qualify them, for someone it is very useful, but for someone it is not.

Why is all this happening? The answer to this question lies in the fact that the disparity between the poor and the rich has become much wider. Someone has access to the most common products, and someone does not have it. The problem is that both the poor and the rich know about each other perfectly well thanks to Internet access. For example, an ordinary person can observe how one of the largest corporations talks about the innovations of the new iPhone, while this person understands that it will be unreal to afford a new phone. This is the essence of our life. Although we know a lot, it does not guarantee that we will be able to try all the innovations. It’s like in an ordinary village, people always live in it, whose earnings are the sale of milk, grain and meat, and there are those who are directors of the plant and receive ten times more than others, such a person can order any lavish product thanks to new means of communication.
